Inter-Rotaract Interaction & Fellowship program To highlight on the responsibilities of Rotaract members towards the club & society and to develop friendship among the members through fellowship the Inter-Rotaract Interaction & Fellowship program was organized by Rotaract Club of Annapurna on Friday 2nd July 2010 at Hotel Ananda in Pokhara. In the Interaction Program the three other Rotaract clubs based in Pokhara i.e. Rc Pokhara, Rc Fishtail and Rc Pokhara Mid-Town participated and there were a total of 55 members in the program. On the occasion, Rtn. Madhav Sigdel- President (2009-10), Rotary club of Pokhara Annapurna, gave emphasis on the professional and personal development of Rotaract members and he also said the there is no point in doing community service without self development. Similarly, Past President of the club Rtn. Ishwor Prasad Karmacharya pointed out that, it is the experience and action that matters more than the academic knowledge only, therefore “action should speak louder than words, and people should not back themselves in whatever challenges that come in front of them. In the chairmanship of Rtr. Nikesh Prasad Karmacharya – Charter President, Rotaract club of Annapurna, the program was organized. In the program the Zonal Representative (2009-10), Rtr. Sandesh Sigdel highlighted the fact that people should not only learn to take but should also learn to give. He also spoke about the importance of the youth in leading the nation. Rtr. Poonam Giri- President Elect (2011-12) of Rc Annapurna gave the welcome speech. Similarly, Rc Pokhara President Rtr. Raju Paudel, Rc Fishtail Past President Rtr. Bimala Bhandari, Rc Pokhara Mid Town Member Rtr. Upendra Paudel pointed out the fact that, “ to start a club is not a big deal, but to run it successfully is what is important”. In the Program conducted by the Rtr. Bibek Ghimire Secretary of Rc Annapurna, Rtr. Bibek Karmacharya Vice President of Rc Annapurna delivered the vote of thanks.
